AVT&RW is an organisation for people engaged primarily in Veterinary Teaching and Research. It aims to further the interests of its members through
(a) The organisation of scientific meetings for members.
(b) Political activities within the veterinary and academic arenas.
York 2010 Conference

In addition to submitted presentations on a range of teaching and research issues, plenary lectures will cover the economics of animal health, future strategies of animal health and surveillance, and oncology. On Tuesday evening there will be the chance to meet and question the Presidents of the RCVS and BVA on veterinary matters.

This years plenary session will be given by Ian Brown, Head of the EU/OIE/FAO Reference Laboratory for Avian Influenza, at VLA Weybridge.
It is intended that both oral and poster presentations will be made at this year's meeting.
