Highlights of this year's conference include keynote presentations by:
- John Berezowski (SRUC) on disease surveillance
- Monica Bando (UCLAN) on veterinary education
- Graham Smith (APHA) on environmental sustainability in veterinary research
- Suzanna Bell (APHA) on vector-borne diseases
We particularly encourage early career researchers (including undergraduate students, postgraduate students, interns, clinical residents, and lab technicians) to present their work. The conference provides the ideal opportunity to present research findings, including those of a preliminary nature, in a relaxed supportive environment and to facilitate interaction with other researchers in all aspects of veterinary research.
As in previous years, monetary prizes will be awarded for best first presentations as judged by the AVTRW committee.
For the first time, selected abstracts from this year's conference will be published in the official journal of the AVTRW, Research in Veterinary Science, offering an excellent opportunity to have your work published in a peer reviewed journal.
