What is AVT&RW?
AVT&RW is an organisation composed of those engaged primarily in Veterinary Teaching and Research. It aims to further the interests of its members through
(a) The organisation of scientific meetings for members..
(b) Political activities within the veterinary and academic arenas.
It has a National Council and four Regional Committees:
* Southern Region
* Northern Region
* Scotland
* Ireland
The National Council has a President (elected annually) with junior and senior Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer and a member from each of the above Regional Committees.
The Regional Committees consist of a President and Secretary/ Treasurer and four other members who hold office for three years.
